Documentation shot of the performance– „ResRealis“ is a performance piece in which a man and a woman are tying to find each other by using an ultrasonic interface that replaces their visual sense.
The man and the women both are attached to ultrasonic sensors that are connected to an electronic unit on a belt. The sensors function like a parking assist system and give feedback according to the distance to the next object. Man and Woman only perceive their surrounding through this interface.
The peculiarity of reality that is created by the interface is that it only enables the performers to perceive still objects. Moving/Living objects are not part of the reality of the performers any more.
So, the only way for the man and the women to find each other is to clash into one another by accident, which also marks the end of the performance.*** more information on request ***
